Both Mexico and the Philippines were colonized by Spain in 1521 and became one nation under Spanish rule for several hundred years.
Today, you can quite literally taste this shared history through the food. So during my visit to Mexico City, I booked a food tour with Eat Mexico and ate everything I could get my hands on.
