Simbang Gabi

Filipinos LOVE Christmas.

We love it so much, we celebrate the holidays throughout the BER months - SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER and DecemBER.

Even though I’m not religious per se, I honor anything spiritual in nature.

So when I heard an important Filipino Christmas Mass was being celebrated in Phoenix, Arizona for the first time ever, I picked up my camera and headed to historic St. Mary’s Basilica for SIMBANG GABI.

What is Simbang Gabi?
