Three Years

Happy 2025! 🌟 Today, we’re celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of Filipina. American. Creative.

But to say that this last year of my journey has been difficult would be an understatement.

Not only did I recognize that I had burn out, I decided for the first time in my life that this work means way too much to just quit.

Here’s a quick recap of what happened that led me to burnout.

2022 and 2023 are what I’d call “Going Going” Years.

I started the channel. I reached my first goals of monetization and subscribers. I did the thing. Every week. For two years.

Then 2024 hit, and I was “Gone”… wiped out.

Going… going… GONE.

Momentum from the previous two years was pushing me on. I had trips planned. Interviews to do. Videos to push out.

Still, burn out caught up with me, and just I couldn’t do it anymore. At least not the way I had done it before.

Slowly, but surely (and quite begrudgingly), I had to force myself to accept that I’m merely human.

(Whaaaa??? 🤯)

And I allowed myself the time and space for the burn out to, well… burn out.
