World's Most Diverse Asian Doll

I remember growing up and only playing with dolls that didn't look anything like me. Asian looking dolls just weren’t available.
If I’m honest, only seeing a certain skin and hair color with my dolls conditioned me to believe that the way I looked was not valued or considered beautiful.
Thanks to Samantha, creator of Joeydolls, the color barrier is being broken with a new collection of the world's most diverse Asian dolls.
Representing Chinese, Filipina, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian and Korean heritages, each doll is beautifully dressed to spread the love and joy of diversity to children of all ages.
What I love about the story of Samantha and her Joeydolls is that even though we lived in different parts of the world and in different ethnic households, we share a lot of similarities when it comes to the struggles we faced as Asians wanting to live a creative life.
I’m grateful those shared struggles led to what we do today to make the world a happier, more diverse place for the generations to come.
And you’ll see, there’s something very special about the Filipina doll in the collection that gives her a very special place in my heart.
