I’m Jewish?!

It’s pretty obvious that I’m proud of my lineage.

Not only do Filipinos have strong ties to our native land, we are also historically connected to some powerful nations, including Spain, China and the USA. (More on that later 🙂)

So imagine my complete surprise when I discovered some unexpected countries listed as part of my ancestry on my 23andMe results.

Each ethnicity listed, no matter how surprising, actually made a lot of sense to me personally.

In whatever way we share our piece of human history, I can still feel their story coursing through my veins.

Their ancestral imprint and valiant spirit are probably what drive me to do this series today.
